Consisting of jackets, t-shirts, hoodies and a tote bag, the line is vegan with a sustainable focus.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The collaboration emerged after the popstar started spending more time in <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.vegconom.de\/usa\/marketing-and-media\/new-book-release-an-opinionated-guide-to-vegan-london\/\">London<\/a>, going out for drinks with the designer. Swift struck up such a friendship with McCartney that she even name-drops her on a track from <i>Lover<\/i>, her new album which reportedly provided the inspiration for the range.<\/p>\n<p>The collection includes two limited edition pieces and was inspired by graffiti, vintage band tees and Swift\u2019s lyrics. The materials are organic and <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.vegconom.de\/usa\/fashion-und-beauty\/recycled-plastic-replaces-down-filling\/\">recycled,<\/a> which is in line with McCartney\u2019s aesthetic for all her pieces.<\/p>\n<p>McCartney, like her parents before her, is a committed animal rights activist, however her brand was <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.vegconom.de\/usa\/fashion-und-beauty\/luxury-house-lvmh-acquires-stella-mccartney-brand-in-sustainability-bid\/\">recently acquired by luxury fashion house LVMH<\/a>, a frequent user of fur, as well as a history of animal testing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has collaborated with fashion designer Stella McCartney on a new fashion line.
